About the Captain

Some say Skipper Glen was born with a fishing addiction and they are correct in saying that. Growing up south of Perth he moved to West Australia’s fishing hot spot Exmouth with his family. This is when his passion started to take over. Whilst schooling in Exmouth at age 13 and 14, Glen would fake sick, all just to ride his push bike to the marina to go fishing. Shortly after that stint in Exmouth he moved back to Perth but regardless of him and his family leaving the fish rich waters off Exmouth, his passion of fishing did not die there.

When Glen and his mates had their licenses, they would travel up and down the coast, camp in their cars all just to catch a fish. Glen managed to buy his first boat at age 23, a 5.3m Trailcraft centre console. This opened up new avenues for Glen, where he would fish any opportunity he had whilst on RnR from the mines. This is where his love for bill fishing blossomed. At age 25 he managed to get himself a 7.0m American made centre console boat. Winter time Glen would do FIFO out of Perth, Summertime he would base himself in Exmouth so he could fish for blue marlin whilst doing DIDO to Cape Lambert to work.

2020 came along with the COVID pandemic, this saw Glen get isolated in Wickham to continue working in the mines. Due to this and not knowing what this pandemic would do, Glen packed up his car, boat to leave it in Wickham where he pretty much lived in the FIFO Camp for a year.

Glen and his partner Jess now call Point Samson home, Glen is the Owner and Operator of Got’Em On Sportfishing. Glen prides himself of giving you the best fishing experience possible and to showcase the best the Pilbara coast has to offer.
