Light and Heavy Tackle Sportfishing

The Dampier Archipelago, in the Pilbara region of WA, is a coastal wonderland comprising of 42 islands and islets off the coast of Dampier and Point Samson. With a huge variety of fish species inhabiting the area it’s a fishing paradise for both amateurs and professionals alike.

The rocky head lands to fringing reefs, there is many species that call this place home. You can expect to catch anything from Giant Trevally, Coral Trout, Chinaman, Spanish Mackerel, Tuna, Cobia and Queenfish just to name a few of the species.

The team love casting topwater lures for the above species but be sure to keep your eyes open as these areas present opportunities to witness manta rays, bottlenose dolphins, turtles, dugongs and the migrating Humpback Whales.

Full Day Charter 8-10hrs – $2200 for the vessel, maximum of 5 anglers.

Demersal Jigging & Bottom Fishing

The waters off Dampier to Point Samson arguably has the best demersal fishing in Western Australia. Red Emperor, Scarlett Sea Perch, Goldband, Coral Trout, Rankin Cod, Spangled Emperor, Blue Lined Emperor, anything is possible when dropping baits and jigs out in these waters. The grounds off our coastline is relatively shallow which will see you drop your baits and jigs in depths anywhere from 20 to 50 metres of water.

The team know the grounds well and have the knowledge to get you tight on these fish to knock them off your bucket list.

Our team will humanely process the fish for you to ensure you get the best & freshest fish possible.

Light Tackle Game Fishing

Although you can catch billfish all year round in the Pilbara, the months from May through to September will see large numbers of Sailfish rock up on our door step. We use a variety of techniques for this style of fishing to give you the best possible chance to catch these jumping speedsters. Teasing Pods of sailfish is one of them and switching them to a live bait is not only visual but the most reliable way to fish for them.

Double, triple hookups on sailfish dancing all around the boat is something you have to witness for yourself.

Our Contender 30ST was born for this style of fishing and is the ultimate vessel to fish out of.
